Forefront Additive Manufacturing Private Limited (Forefront AM) was established on 29 Oct 2015 by a joint venture of a consortium of successful precision engineering companies in Singapore. Forefront AM’s head office is at 28 Woodlands Loop, Singapore and the production factory is located at 10 Tampines North Drive 4, JTC Space@ Tampines North # 03-01 Singapore.

The management team of Forefront AM is headed by Mr. Wu Yong Lin as the Managing Director.
Prior to this role, Mr. Wu worked as the Managing Director for VDL Enabling Technologies Group
Singapore. Mr. Wu has nearly 45 years of manufacturing experience in managing precision engineering
and equipment contract manufacturing companies.
With his leadership and working in close collaboration with the customers, Forefront AM aims to push the boundaries and create breakthroughs in the application of 3D additive manufacturing technology in combination with the traditional subtractive manufacturing technology. With the use of this advanced manufacturing technology, the high precision complex parts otherwise impossible or too difficult to be made are now able to manufacture with good finishing, accuracy and quality to meet the specifications of the customers.
All our team members are well trained in 3D AM technology and processes. The operation team consisting of:
- Design Engineer
- Project Engineer
- Hybrid AM/High speed machining specialist
The team has experience and the knowhow of FDM, DMLS, Hybrid 3D AM and post machining processes.
The design engineer and technologist are trained in multiple CAD and CAM software as well as using CAE software for product design. Using the CAE software to perform topological optimization in product design reduces the weight of the parts but maintaining similar or better structural strength that helps in lowering the cost by using 3D AM. It also enables the design engineer to have creativity in designing functional high precision parts that in the past were impossible to be made.
